Terms of Service

1. Who These Terms Are Between

These Terms of Service govern website template purchases, optional monthly service packages, software add-ons, and Scott Skill Packs bought from Scott Applications LLC ("we," "us," or "our") through www.scottapplications.com.

By completing checkout you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy covers how we handle your information and forms part of this agreement.

2. Your Website Is a Monthly Subscription

Your website is provided as an ongoing monthly service, not a one-time purchase. There is no setup fee and no separate build charge. Your plan starts at $109/mo and your site remains live, hosted, and maintained by us for as long as that plan is active.

Every plan, including the base plan, covers:

• The complete website build and setup, configured with your copy, photos, branding, and services.
• Hosting, SSL, security, and uptime monitoring for as long as your plan is active.
• Unlimited revision requests. We work one request at a time and typically turn each around within 2 business days. This covers edits to your existing pages — copy, photos, colours, sections, and contact details. Brand-new custom features are scoped and quoted separately.

It does not include ongoing marketing management — local SEO, monthly content, or ad campaign management. Those are the service plans described in Section 3.

Because this is a subscription, you do not own the website outright. You own your domain and your own content — your text, photos, and logo — and we will provide a copy of that content on request when you cancel. Section 8 explains what happens to the site itself.

3. Plans

There are three plans. Each price below is the whole monthly cost — the website is included in every one of them, and the marketing plans are not charged on top of the base plan:

• Website — $109/mo, with a 3-month minimum term. Your site, built and launched, with unlimited revisions included.
• Website + SEO — $299/mo, with a 6-month minimum term. Everything in Website, plus ongoing local SEO and monthly content.
• Website + SEO + Ads — $599/mo, with a 6-month minimum term. Everything in Website + SEO, plus managed Google Ads campaigns.

Unlimited revision requests are included on every plan, base plan included, subject to the scope described in Section 2. What the Website + SEO and Website + SEO + Ads plans add is ongoing marketing management: local SEO, monthly written content, and — on the top plan — managed Google Ads campaigns.

You may move up a plan at any time. Moving down, or cancelling, is governed by the minimum term in Section 8.

Google Ads

No package bundles ad spend. Website + SEO + Ads includes campaign management only — you fund your own Google Ads budget directly through your own account. This works alongside SEO: Ads increases visibility in paid search immediately, while SEO builds organic ranking over time.

4. Lead Commission — 2.3%

We charge a 2.3% commission on verified website leads that generate more than $1,000 in revenue for your business.

• No lead, no charge.
• No revenue, no charge.
• Leads under $1,000 in revenue are not subject to commission.
• Leads you generate through your own marketing, referrals, or channels not originating from the website are not subject to commission.
• Conversions are reported by you on a monthly basis.

5. Your Content and Launch Timing

We build your site using your branding, photographs, and written content. You are responsible for supplying that material and for holding the rights to use it.

Once your content is ready, your site is built and goes live within 24 hours. That clock starts when your content is complete — not at purchase. We will contact you to begin onboarding within 24 hours of your order. Phone hours are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central; outside those hours we are reachable by email.

6. Domains

You may bring your own domain and we will connect it at no extra charge. If you do not have one, we will register one for you — domains are billed yearly through a third-party registrar and the cost depends on the specific name chosen. Either way, you own your domain.

7. Software Add-Ons

Software add-on modules are billed monthly, carry no minimum term, and may be cancelled at any time. They are separate from the plans in Section 3 and are not subject to the minimum term or early termination terms below. Cancelling an add-on does not affect your website plan.

8. Cancellation and Early Termination

Each plan carries its own minimum term:

• Website — 3-month minimum ($327 in total).
• Website + SEO — 6-month minimum ($1,794 in total).
• Website + SEO + Ads — 6-month minimum ($3,594 in total).

• After the minimum term, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
• Cancelling before the end of the minimum term incurs an early termination fee equal to 50% of the remaining term balance.
• When your plan ends, your website is taken offline. The site is provided as part of the subscription, so it does not continue after cancellation. Your domain stays yours and points wherever you choose, and we will provide a copy of your own content — text, photos, and logo — on request within 30 days of cancellation.

9. Late Payment

This section applies to every plan in Section 3 and to software add-ons.

• After 14 days late, your site is temporarily suspended.
• After 30 days late, service is terminated.

10. Refunds

Monthly payments are non-refundable once work on that month has begun, including the first month once setup has started. Plans are otherwise governed by the minimum term and early termination provisions in Section 8.

If you are unsure whether a template suits your business, contact us before purchasing — we would rather answer questions than process a dispute.

11. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. All amounts are in United States dollars, and we sell to customers in the United States only.

12. Skill Packs

MEDTEK Workbench is a monthly subscription. You receive a license key that starts with SSK- and you install through our MCP server at mcp.scottapps.com. The files your agent writes locally do not update themselves and do not phone home.

You may use the pack on your machines and with your coding agents. You may not republish the pack, resell it, or present a copy as your own product. Copying SKILL.md after install is a licence matter, not something we can technically prevent.

We do not put trackers in the pack. Using the MCP is a request to our server. We retain operational records of that use — which tool ran, which pack was named, whether it succeeded, a hash of your license key — as described in the Privacy Policy. We never receive your source code, prompts, or files. Checkout, locker access, and MCP license checks happen on our site so we can deliver what you bought. Optional site analytics and locker improvement notes are also in that policy. If you send a note, or when we review MCP counts, we may use a de-identified copy to plan a later edition of a pack. The copy you already have stays frozen until you choose to install a new one.

If a shipped rule fights a competent developer (a false positive we treat as a defect), contact us. That is a refund-class problem, not "user error."

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes affecting an active monthly package will be communicated to you directly.
